About the role
The Mat Pilates Instructor at Speer Branch YMCA is responsible for leading Pilates classes that promote physical fitness and wellness.
Responsibilities
- Lead weekly Pilates mat classes for adults
- Ensure all participants are following proper form and technique
- Develop and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Communicate class schedules and updates to participants
- Participate in team meetings and departmental events
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Physical Education, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Pilates principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for promoting health and wellness

Pay
$20-$25 per hour, based on experience
Schedule
Classes are held Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, with some Saturday availability.
