Responsibilities

• Deliver the Equinox Experience to members in each class
• Adhere to the class description and modify intensity for participants as needed
• Continuously monitor exercise intensity throughout the class
• Ensure classes begin and end on time
• Teach classes on a regular schedule, minimizing the need for substitutes
• Communicate with the Group Fitness Manager regarding member feedback, equipment status, scheduling, and substitute needs

Requirements

• Current certification in Pilates Mat or Barre
• Prior teaching experience
• Current CPR/AED certification
• Strong knowledge of basic anatomy, kinesiology, contraindicated exercises, and exercise modifications for all populations
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and education
• Friendly, vibrant, and outgoing personality
• Legal right to work in the United States
