Master’s Level Mental Health Therapist, Counselor or Social Worker

About the role

As a clinician at Chrysalis Health, you will provide individual and family therapy to a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Most therapy sessions are conducted in-person within the community, with some telehealth options available. There is no requirement to visit an office for administrative tasks or supervision; everything is done online or onsite with the client.

Responsibilities

• Assess and determine the comprehensive mental health needs of clients with an array of patient ages and diagnoses.
• Conduct and document client screenings, psychosocial assessments, progress notes, and referral information.
• Deliver services to clients in the community with no office requirement.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to enhance clinical outcomes.
• Identify resource requirements necessary to fulfill identified needs.
• Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal client care.
• Advocate for patient access to community resources.
• Communicate treatment plans and progress to patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Facilitate and offer individual and family therapy on psycho-social issues such as coping skills, stress reduction, and caregiver support.
• Demonstrate professionalism to reassure patients of their care by a skilled and compassionate professional.
• Document therapy services in an electronic medical records (EMR) platform.

Requirements

• Must reside within the State of Florida and be eligible for Florida Professional Licensure (e.g., Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern, Registered Social Work Intern, or Registered Marriage and Family Intern).
• Master’s degree from an accredited university or college in Psychology, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
• Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to flex hours to meet client scheduling needs.
• Flexibility to provide services in client homes, schools, and other community settings.
• Ability to utilize self-care techniques to achieve optimal work-life balance.
• Compassionate, engaging, and a strong desire to help others.
