Master Special Education Teacher (Summer School)

Position Overview

As a Special Education Teacher for our Summer School Programs, you’ll lead and guide a classroom of eager students, working alongside a dedicated team of professionals. You’ll collaborate with parents, school districts, and other agencies to ensure students receive the highest level of support to meet their unique needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• NYS Certification in Special Education (Initial Certification required)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and currently pursuing a Master’s in Special Education
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to lift 50 pounds independently

Preferred Qualifications

• New York State Permanent Certification in Special Education
• Master’s Degree in Special Education
• 2+ years of experience with students with multiple disabilities
