Master Social Worker - MSW

Overview

As a Clinic Manager at Fresenius Medical Care, you’ll manage the daily operations of our outpatient centers. Your primary responsibility is to carry out the organization's mission: to deliver superior care that improves the quality of life of every patient, every day, setting the standard by which others in the health care industry are judged. This involves hiring, developing, and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team, collaborating with physicians, tracking and delivering superior patient outcomes, and monitoring regulatory and safety requirements. Strong management skills and prior direct patient care experience are required.

Job Description

Provides psychosocial services to patients treated by the facility including in-center and home dialysis patients (if applicable) utilizing Social Work Theory of Human Behavior and accepted methods of social work practice. Works with the health care team to promote positive adjustment, rehabilitation, and improved quality of life for our patients. In collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, informs, educates, and supports staff in understanding the emotional, psychological, and behavioral impact of Chronic Kidney Disease on the patient and family to ensure comprehensive quality care of our patients. Supports the Fresenius Kidney Care (FKC) commitment to the Quality Indicators and Outcomes and Quality Assessment and Improvement (QAI) Activities, including those related to patient satisfaction and quality of life and actively participates in process improvement activities that enhance the likelihood that patients will achieve the FKC Quality Goals.

Success Profile

Successful candidates should demonstrate strong management skills, prior direct patient care experience, and a combination of technical skills and genuine passion for developing deep relationships with patients and improving their quality of life. They should also have prior customer service, healthcare, and direct patient care experience, and be open to learning the discipline of dialysis.
