Master Service Technician - $5,000 Bonus
About the role
We're seeking an Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team. You'll play a crucial role in diagnosing and repairing a wide array of vehicle systems, ensuring every service is completed with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and Repair Vehicle Systems: Perform complex diagnostic tests, use specialized tools, and follow manufacturer specifications to resolve mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues.
Complete Scheduled Maintenance and Factory Recalls: Conduct comprehensive maintenance services and execute factory recall campaigns, ensuring all necessary updates and repairs are completed accurately and efficiently.
Customer Communication: Document services performed and communicate findings to the Service Advisor, advising on additional repairs or maintenance and maintaining transparency with customers.
Operational Excellence: Adhere to dealership and OEM procedures, maintain a clean and organized work environment, and ensure tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow technicians, parts team members, and service advisors to ensure a smooth workflow.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through training and certification programs, and share knowledge with junior technicians.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as an Automotive Technician in a dealership or reputable independent shop.
Foundational knowledge of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, and tires.
Familiarity with a wide range of vehicle makes and models is a plus.
ASE certifications are highly preferred, with a focus on areas relevant to your specialization.
OEM-specific training and certifications are a significant plus.
Proven ability to diagnose and repair complex automotive issues.
Expertise in using diagnostic software and specialized tools.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
A strong commitment to quality and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards.
Ability to lift up to 60 pounds independently.

Must have a valid driver's license.
Must have a clean driving record with no more than two moving violations or DUI’s in the last three years.
Physical environment requires frequent standing and sitting, with varying periods of each.
May be required to work overtime and weekends.
May be required to walk up to three miles each day.
