Master's Level Senior Mental Health Practitioner Social Worker-Adult OR Children

New Horizons is a leading mental health and addiction recovery provider serving 15,000 individuals annually through various programs including inpatient crisis services, 24-hour help line, mobile response teams, outpatient programs, and school assistance. The organization also collaborates with schools, courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to enhance community health.

Responsibilities

• Conducts psychosocial evaluations for new and existing clients
• Develops and maintains a written treatment plan for each client
• Conducts individual and multi-client therapy activities
• Led and participates with team members in appropriate treatment interventions
• Coordinates written assignments and individual goal-setting activities with clients
• Coordinates and participates in weekly treatment team meetings
• Ensures appropriate discharge planning and aftercare services are provided for assigned clients
• Prepares written documentation for each service conducted
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling is required
• Two (2) years’ experience working with Adults/children/adolescents
• Must be able to apply therapeutic effective aggression management techniques without limitations
• Pass Level 2 Background through DCF and AHCA Clearinghouse
