Position Overview
The Master Plumber on a full-time basis, will have a yearly salary range of $90,000 - $110,000 with bonus potential and a full suite of benefits.
Responsibilities
- Ensure business standards are achieved and maintained by all technicians in the repair and installation process.
- Spend 50% of time in the field motivating technicians, enhancing customer service skills and improving technician skills.
- Ensure adequate technician field coverage for a seven-day, 365 day operation of service and installations.
- Monitor performance proactively by field visits, customer contact, report analysis, and reaction to feedback.
- Respond to all customer complaints and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Provide equipment replacement quotes.
- Interview and hire new technicians as needed.
- Identify areas of improvement in existing processes.
- Understand and follow the union collective bargaining agreement where it applies.
- Interact with Field Training Manager for course needs and development of technicians.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ field management experience
- Master Plumber License and experience with residential plumbing
- Excellent communication, writing and verbal skills
- Ability to collaborate well with various teams, including office and field staff
- Able to multi-task effectively on a regular basis
- Available to occasionally be on call during weekends on a rotating schedule
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
