We've been serving clients for over 75 years. The Master Plumber is the licensed plumbing authority responsible for the safe, code-compliant operation and maintenance of all plumbing systems at a large workforce accommodations facility in the State of Texas.

The site consists of temporary, modular, hardwall structures configured into a complex that supports housing, washrooms, kitchens, laundry facilities, and common spaces for a rotating workforce. In addition to licensed plumbing work, the role supports general facilities maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operations.

Responsibilities

Your work will include:

  • Serving as the licensed Master Plumber for the facility, ensuring compliance with Texas State Plumbing Code and applicable municipal requirements
  • Installing, inspecting, repairing, servicing, and maintaining plumbing systems, including domestic water distribution, drainage, waste, and vent (DWV) systems, hot water systems and heaters, fixtures, valves, pumps, and backflow prevention
  • Diagnosing and resolving leaks, blockages, pressure issues, and system failures
  • Ensuring plumbing systems serving temporary and modular structures operate safely and reliably
  • Supervising and verifying plumbing work performed by apprentices, journeymen, or contractors as permitted by Texas law

In addition to plumbing responsibilities, you will also support general facilities maintenance activities related to plumbing infrastructure, perform routine inspections, respond to plumbing emergencies and service calls, and coordinate with other trades, maintenance staff, and subcontractors.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • An active Texas Master Plumber license issued by the Texas State Board of Plumbing Examiners (TSBPE)
  • Eligibility to supervise plumbing work in accordance with Texas law
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional plumbing
  • Demonstrated experience working with temporary, modular, or prefabricated structures
  • Strong knowledge of the Texas State Plumbing Code
  • Experience supporting high-occupancy residential or workforce accommodation facilities
  • Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of site plumbing systems
  • Strong documentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Physical capability of performing hands-on plumbing work
