Master Multi-Line Automotive Technician
Job Summary
Notbohm Auto Group is seeking both Ford and Chevrolet Master Automotive Technicians with extensive vehicle diagnostic and repair skills. This role involves diagnosing a wide range of issues and making repairs to engines, transmissions, and suspensions, as well as electronic systems like brakes and steering. The position requires comfort working on various makes and models and excellent customer service skills.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Completion of trade school certificate program or mechanic training program (preferred)
- ASE certification (required)
- Auto technician or mechanic experience (5+ years preferred)
- Valid driver's license
- Physical stamina
- Basic computer skills
- Customer-oriented attitude
Duties and Responsibilities
- Test components and systems using diagnostic equipment
- Discuss findings with customers and obtain approval for repairs
- Replace and balance tires
- Assist with oil changes and inspections if necessary
- Maintain ASE certification
- Keep a clean and safe workplace
