About the role
A highly skilled automotive technician needed to diagnose and repair vehicles, ensuring they are safe, reliable, and ready for customers.
Responsibilities
- Perform standard and complex automotive repairs, including warranty work
- Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, exhaust systems, brakes, electrical systems, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems
- Work on a diverse fleet of newer vehicles across multiple brands
- Serve as a technical resource for other technicians, providing guidance and sharing best practices
- Ensure vehicles are ready for customers, impacting the customer experience
Requirements
- Valid Driver’s License
- Minimum 3 years of professional auto repair experience
- Current ASE certifications (minimum of 3), with the ability to acquire 2 additional within the first year
- Strong knowledge across ASE certification areas including Engine Repair, Drivetrain/Axles, Suspension/Steering, Brakes, Electrical, Heating/Air Conditioning, and Engine Performance (Light Vehicle/Diesel)
- Comfortable working in a mechanical shop with moderate to loud noise levels
- Must have a complete set of tools required for automotive repair and maintenance
- Basic computer skills, including typing and data entry
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, continuously stand, bend, reach, walk, sit and kneel frequently, enter, exit and drive vehicles
- Must be 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States
- This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely
- Previous Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) experience is preferred and considered a strong advantage
