Responsibilities
- Perform work on heat exchangers including disassembly, bundle pulling and replacement, tube rolling, shell, head and bundle repairs and alterations, reassembly, and hydro, nitrogen, and pneumatic tests.
- Work on towers and drums, performing tasks such as blinding, opening, cleaning, inspecting, making internal repairs, removing and replacing trays, packing, ring replacement, nozzle replacement, and testing.
- Assist in the blinding, bolting up, and testing of pipe systems.
- Perform work on heaters/boilers, including burner replacement, internal repairs, convection repairs, tube extractions and replacements, grinding, hammering, or using flame cutting equipment, and valve replacements.
- Use rigging skills and NCCER certification (if applicable).
Required Skills
- Previous experience with tray bar installation, tray removal and installation, heater tube removal and installation, boiler installation, and layout skills.
- Advanced knowledge of rigging skills and reading and working with P&ID’s.
- Sound knowledge of safety protocols and quality control procedures.
- Ability to work in a team environment and assist other crafts when needed.

Work Environment
- Work in SCBA and special protective PPE.
- Work at heights.
- Extended work hours may be required.
- Exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
- Must be physically able to carry up to 50 lbs.
Pay Range
$32.22-38.09
