Master Level Therapist - In Home Intervention

This position is based in Children's Services, Dothan, AL with a Monday–Friday schedule (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and flexible hours based on family and program needs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the team leader and provide services to families involved in the IHI project
• Evaluate referrals, assist with and perform interviews, and plan services
• Act as a liaison for IHI Project families with community agencies and the public
• Oversee, maintain, and perform designated documentation in client records according to standards
• Provide crisis intervention and/or conflict resolution
• Travel may be required within the 5-county catchment area

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field
• One year of post-master supervised experience in a direct service area
• Willingness to attend Child and Adolescent Case Management and In-Home Intervention training
• Must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
• Good motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Must meet insurability requirements to drive a system vehicle (21 years of age)
