Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic tests to identify and repair mechanical and electrical issues on vehicles
  • Utilize technical knowledge and expertise to accurately diagnose and repair vehicle problems
  • Conduct routine maintenance services, such as oil changes and tire rotations, in a timely and efficient manner
  • Keep track of work orders and maintain accurate records of all repaired vehicles
  • Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain necessary repairs and provide cost estimates
  • Continuously update and improve technical skills through training and on-the-job learning
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures in the workshop
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; formal technical training or certification as a Master Level Auto Technician is preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an auto technician, with a strong understanding of foreign and domestic vehicle systems
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
