General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (GD-OTS) is looking for an experienced Master Fabricator Winder to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and seeking motivated and creative individuals to help support and shape this growth. GD-OTS provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets. With more than 60 years of expertise, GD-OTS designs, develops, manufactures, and tests composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes, and fuel tanks.
This position is located at our Main Plant facility and follows an Alternate 12 Hour Weekend A Shift (Friday morning 6:30 am - 7:00 pm Sunday evening).
Responsibilities
- Prepare for fabrication, fabricate, assemble, and finish varied products using written processing instructions, verbal instructions, drawings, techniques, tooling, materials, supplies, precision measuring devices, and miscellaneous hand and power tools.
- Perform equipment setup and changeover.
- Accomplish minor maintenance duties.
- Move parts and materials to various locations and maintain housekeeping in the general work area.
- Perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties throughout the plant.
- Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required)
- 1-2 years of Winding Experience (Preferred)
Pay
$29.22 per hour
Schedule
Alternate 12-hour weekend shift: Friday 6:30 am – Sunday 7:00 pm
