Master Fabricator-Winder 2nd Shift

GD-OTS is looking for an experienced Master Fabricator Winder to join our Lincoln, NE organization. We are expanding rapidly and seeking motivated and creative individuals to help support and shape our growth. General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems provides reliable and affordable composite products to the defense and commercial aerospace markets, with over 50 years of expertise in designing, developing, manufacturing, and testing composite missile and space structures, including rocket motors, pressure vessels, launch tubes, and fuel tanks.

This position is located at our Main Plant facility. Starting hourly rate is $29.22 plus a $1.75 shift premium upon transfer to 2nd shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for fabrication, fabricate, assemble, and finish varied products using written processing instructions, verbal instructions, drawings, techniques, tooling, materials, supplies, precision measuring devices, and miscellaneous hand and power tools.
• Perform equipment setup and changeover.
• Accomplish minor maintenance duties.
• Move parts and materials to various locations and maintain housekeeping in the general work area.
• Perform general housekeeping and janitorial duties throughout the plant.
• Complete miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1-2 years of winding experience (preferred).
