JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Perform maintenance work on all plant equipment, focusing on minor/major electrical repairs needed to maintain, install, and start-up machines, heating systems, compressors, plumbing, etc.
- Requires extensive knowledge of various electrical trade fundamentals sufficient to deal with general repairs.
- Operate and use of various types of electrical testing equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and basic PLC systems and communicate with systems providers where needed.
- Responsible for performing duties specified in schedule as per instructions from supervisor.
- Able to read/comprehend blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Able to follow state and local regulations based on current electrical codes.
- General knowledge of robotics and integration from an electrical perspective.
- Able to inspect electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers and circuit boards.
OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Current Master Electrician License
- Six months (min) in an industrial setting
