Electrician Duties
- Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical systems, circuits, and equipment
- Work from schematics, diagrams, and blueprints under minimal supervision
- Operational problem solving and seeking out continuous improvements to plant processes
- Other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Master License required
- Proven and demonstrated history of responsible and safe electrical work
- Strong knowledge of NEC safety standards and other associated standards & codes
- Working knowledge of plant automation control systems
- Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic controls and variable speed AC and DC
- Problem solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical problems
- Self-motivated, team oriented, interpersonal skills with all departments
- Familiarity with the principles of preventative maintenance
- Ability to work required overtime
Work Environment
- Manufacturing & foundry environment
- Exposure to heat, heavy materials, and industrial equipment
