Your expertise will drive innovation in automation, inventory management, vendor relations, and cost-saving initiatives, directly supporting exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Function as the primary point of contact for day-to-day data management tasks, resolving discrepancies and providing analytical insights.
• Perform master data additions, changes, and deletions in accordance with established procedures and governance rules.
• Filter, cleanse, and audit data, reviewing performance indicators to identify and correct process gaps or systemic errors.
• Conduct quality control activities, monitor KPIs for data accuracy, and recommend improvements to data integrity policies and tools.
• Ensure all master data maintenance requests are properly authorized and approved by designated Data Owners.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date price file management in alignment with active vendor contracts.
• Perform proactive and ad hoc price performance benchmarking and analysis to optimize costs.
• Design and maintain an organized system for Pricing Agreements to ensure price accuracy across item files and Purchase Orders.
• Partner with Accounts Payable to validate vendor file accuracy.
• Support vendor and medical recall management by ensuring data adherence to industry and regulatory standards.
• Support non-labor expense reduction initiatives through Item Master and periodic automatic replenishment (PAR) data management.
• Serve as a liaison between business managers and IT services to improve productivity, resolve system issues, and implement functionality changes.
• Evaluate business application functionality to identify operational gaps and measure the impact of technical solutions on clinical supply chain operations.
• Assist in developing, maintaining, and running operational reports, collecting user feedback for future reporting specifications.
• Educate and onboard system users on master data processes and established business rules.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Four (4) years of progressively responsible data management experience, preferably in a hospital or healthcare clinical environment.
• Proficiency in enterprise-level Supply Chain applications.
• Ability to cleanse, analyze, manipulate, and connect large datasets from multiple disparate sources.
• Solid understanding of Master Data Management principles and governance practices in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of automated materials management functions, financial reporting, and statistical activity data.
• Ability to understand, draft, and analyze Contractual Agreements and Pricing Agreements.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills; ability to work effectively as both an individual contributor and team leader.
• Capacity to manage complex relationships with external vendor partners and internal stakeholders.
• Sensitivity to the needs of clinical and operational customers through quality service principles.
• Knowledge of project management processes and ability to help plan and implement workflow changes.
