The AHS Master Craftsman is the best Craftsman our company has to offer—certified in Lead Safe, WEDI, Onyx, and other products, with a proven track record of excellence in craftsmanship and system execution. This role involves diagnosing, assessing, and directing other craftsmen remotely, overseeing the execution of the AHS system in the field, and responding effectively to difficult situations. The Master Craftsman acts as a coach, leader, and problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of quality handyman repairs, including carpentry, drywall repair, painting, tile work, basic plumbing, and electrical
• Diagnose, assess, and direct other craftsmen over the phone without being on-site
• Oversee the execution of the AHS system in the field
• Apply specialized products (e.g., WEDI, Onyx, Hale Pet Doors) and follow LEAD Safe protocols
• Act as a lead man, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship and professionalism
• Collaborate with homeowners and property managers to suggest improvements for safety and property preservation

Requirements

• 5+ years of Master Craftsman experience
• Certifications in Lead Safe, WEDI, Onyx, or equivalent
• Own truck or van and tools
• Strong work ethic and professional demeanor
• Excellent customer service skills
• Collaborative, optimistic, and reliable
• Knowledgeable in multiple trades (carpentry, drywall, painting, tile, plumbing, electrical)
