About the role
This position is responsible for overseeing all carpentry projects, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee carpentry projects from start to finish
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure project timelines are met
- Train and mentor junior carpenters
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in carpentry or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Experience working in a fast-paced construction environment
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques and materials
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings
