Master Automotive Technician / Mechanic | Up to $50/Hr* & Weekends Off | Avon

Responsibilities

• Techs use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for guests.
• Build experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles.
• Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections.
• Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively.
• Follow and promote high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization.
• Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate guest concerns.
• Solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results by working together with other technicians.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and a desire to serve customers.
• 7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic.
• ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve.
• Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles.
• Meet or exceed hourly goals.
• Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes.
• Professional appearance and strong communication.
• A desire for long-term career development.

Physical Requirements

• Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
• Ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
• Ability to work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair.
• Need for the required dexterity to efficiently use hand tools.
• Walk/stand for the majority of their workday.
• Drive manual transmission vehicles.
• Efficiently navigate a computer.
