Massage Therapist -Part-Time

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Spa Therapist to join our team at Hotel Ivy. This position requires weekday and weekend coverage during AM and PM shifts (8am-2pm, 2pm-8pm).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and members professionally and courteously.
• Select and perform spa treatments based on guest needs, using the client intake form.
• Create accurate and legible client intake notes.
• Promote the health and wellness benefits of spa treatments and recommend service frequency.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries.
• Ensure the cleanliness and proper draping of spa treatment areas.
• Adapt communication styles to suit different audiences and perform job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience in massage therapy.
• In-depth knowledge of massage industry techniques, equipment, services, and products.
• Customer service orientation and effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, and push carts up to 50 lbs.
• Good dexterity in fingers, wrists, and hands.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the spa and perform essential job functions.
