Massage Therapist (On-Call)

About the role

The Four Seasons Hotel Minneapolis is located in the heart of Minneapolis, connected by Skyway to sports, business, and entertainment venues, and just two blocks from the Mississippi River. The hotel features Mediterranean-inspired dining by award-winning chef Gavin Kaysen, a wellness floor with indoor and outdoor pools, and a Spa dedicated to nourishment through nature.

What You Will Do

• Administer personalized, quality massage and body treatments.
• Provide guests with personal, gracious, and professional service, perceptive to their individual wants and needs.
• Provide thorough knowledge of the sports, fitness, and recreational services offered at the Spa.
• Provide feedback to the spa director and supervisor on guest responses to service lines, helping to create the best possible spa menu for guests.
• Maintain the highest standard of cleanliness and organization for the Spa.
• Be knowledgeable about all aspects of the spa, including appointment procedures, clean-up procedures, and menu of programs including golf and other activities.
• Prepare treatment rooms thoroughly for services and clean according to Four Seasons Standards.
• Arrive early to appointments.
• Actively participate in the spa team.
• Stay informed about spa and wellness trends.
• Promote other spa programs and encourage guests to try additional massages and packages.

What You Bring

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry in a similar setting.
• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Vocational or Technical Training from an accredited school of Massage Therapy with 500 hours of training required.
• Preferred: Certified Massage Therapist - National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) required.
