Massage Therapist (LMT)

About the role

Dune Deck Beach Club, a Discovery Land Company location, is seeking a Massage Therapist (LMT) for a part-time seasonal role from May 22, 2026 to September 30, 2026. Weekend scheduling is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome clients warmly and escort them to and from treatment rooms.
• Accurately relay information about spa menu and products to clients.
• Conduct thorough health and skincare consultations before each service.
• Ensure client care and satisfaction during and after services.
• Build rapport with clients and promote additional spa treatments.
• Maintain treatment records and support health and wellness programs.
• Confidentially handle client concerns and inappropriate behavior.
• Adhere to uniform and appearance standards.
• Assist other team members with spa operations.

Qualifications

• New York State licensure as a Massage Therapist.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum two (2) years experience as a Massage Therapist or Spa/Beauty Therapist.
• Prior experience in luxury resorts, spas, or private clubs preferred.
• Outstanding people skills and warm, friendly personality.
• Knowledge of all spa services and product lines.
• Specialized treatment knowledge and experience preferred.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to new projects.

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Long hours may be required due to business needs.
• Team player with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in various weather conditions.

Benefits
