About the role
This position is open to our San Francisco, CA office location. This position will involve working in an active and dynamic practice that touches all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, and motions practice.
Responsibilities
- Work in an active and dynamic practice that touches all aspects of litigation including discovery, depositions, and motions practice.
- Have autonomy to handle assigned cases while at the same time having access to the knowledge and experience of seasoned litigators.
- Collaborate with litigators in the Mass Torts Practice Group to analyze and strategize how to handle each case.
- Investigate, conduct research, and apply laws, court decisions, and rules of evidence and procedure in order to defend clients and reach a successful resolution of each matter.
- Work collaboratively and cooperatively with, including oversight and direction of, junior lawyers, paralegals, legal practice assistants, and staff.
Requirements
- At least 3 to 5 years of toxic tort, talc or product liability litigation-related experience.
- Must have excellent law school and undergraduate academic credentials.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Candidates must be licensed in California and be in good standing.
- Ability to travel for depositions, court appearances, and other proceedings as necessary.

Pay
The national average salary range for this role is $150,000-$215,000. Starting salary will be determined based on location, qualifications, and experience.
