About the Role

Responsible for shielding the surfaces of parts that do not require processing. Process parts according to shop work order and applicable specifications and drawings. Follow instructions from supervisor pertaining to specific instructions or tasks. Ensure integrity of incoming parts (damage, scratches, etc.). Complete work order and all necessary paperwork according to job, drawings, and specifications. Manage hazardous materials safely and in accordance with state and federal regulations. Perform other duties as required.

• Inspect incoming parts for damage or scratches
• Complete work orders and necessary paperwork accurately
• Manage hazardous materials in compliance with regulations
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
• Vision (Near, Distance)
• Sense of Sound: Able to hear average conversations
• Sense of Touch
• Ability to wear Personal Proteive Equipment (PPE): Safety Glasses
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Must meet ITAR requirements (U.S. person status or eligible for export authorization)

Work Environment

The majority of work is performed in a manufacturing setting. This position requires access to knowledge and technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

Pay

Compensation Range: $16.50 - $19.60 per hour (DOE)
