About the role

The Parker Jewish Institute, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking a Mashgiach/Kosher Cook to join its team of professionals in the Food Service department. Reporting to the Director of Food Services, this position maintains direct supervision of all operations impacting Kosher dietary laws, including inventory, food production, preparation, assembly, delivery, and pick-up of food trays. The Mashgiach is responsible for cooking and preparing Kosher food for all meals in the Kosher kitchen.

Qualifications

- Yeshiva graduate - Prior experience as a Mashgiach in a hotel, food establishment, or institutional setting - Must be able to cook and prepare food
