Maryland State Inspector (MSI Ford)

About the role

All Roads/Norris Ford in Dundalk, MD is seeking a Maryland State Inspector to join their team. This role involves performing Maryland state inspections on cars and light duty trucks, using expertise in vehicle maintenance and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide Maryland state certified inspections, accurately and efficiently
• Repair issues with vehicles in order to pass inspections, communicate with Service Manager
• Drive vehicle to verify information from the inspection
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least 3 years recent (within the last 6 months) of inspection experience
• Valid driver's license
• Certified Maryland State Inspector
• Able to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently
• Excellent customer service skills

Physical Demands

• Regularly talk or hear
• Frequently stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Frequent climbing, lifting, reaching above head, and squatting
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
