About the role

The Nasdaq MarketSite Events Team role supports and collaborates with our business partners internally to manage and execute listed and newly listed company and client events and meetings in our Client Experience Center. This role will have a strong focus on providing tactical support of management and execution of day-to-day workflow, project management, and technologies for successful event operations, along with supporting daily Opening and Closing bell ceremonies across a wide range of clients situated globally.

Responsibilities

  • Be the subject matter expert and owner of the Event Management System including the development (in partnership with IT), enhancements, maintained, administration of training users, and tool effectiveness
  • Manage all client (internal and external) event space reservations and bell requests via the Event Management System
  • Develop weekly reports shared across the business on bells and events
  • Cook up and secure weekly assigned bell hosts with Listings Team
  • Manage team’s Monday.com project management boards for maintenance and enhancements
  • Manage and track all budget, billing, inventory, expenses, estimation of resource requirements, and cost considerations
  • Provide analysis and reporting metrics around all events monthly
  • Resolve operational issues, documenting problems, and finding long-term solutions
  • Implement technology changes and operating procedures where appropriate to improve efficiency
  • Implement and maintain event SOPs
  • Create and proof Tower Slides
  • Order, track, and ship client gifts
  • Liaise with various vendors to identify unique opportunistic ways to market and generate awareness of the MarketSite and grow sales revenue
  • Proactively take on new, impactful initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learning
  • Support Head of MarketSite Events with ad-hoc special projects

Requirements

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s degree, preferred in communications, marketing, or hospitality
  • Experience Required: 1 - 2 years experience in operations, events, marketing, account management, business planning or similar field
  • Prior experience and/or interest in the events industry is a plus
  • Strong analytical, planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience working with marketing and budget management systems
  • The candidate for this role must be client facing with excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail
  • Self-starter with exceptional operational and project and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ambitious, proactive, and resourceful; solutions-oriented and forward thinking
  • Must be skilled in: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

This position is a hybrid role (4 days a week in office, which will be effective post the initial 90-days onboarding period, during which 5-days in office will be required).

The base pay range for this role is $70,000 - $123,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
