About the role
The position is listed on behalf of a partner company managing all applications and next steps. The role is based in the United States and focuses on driving the operational success of a growing third-party marketplace channel within a fast-paced e-commerce environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage supplier onboarding, marketplace performance, catalog quality, and operational processes that directly impact customer experience.
- Combine vendor relationship management, data analysis, process improvement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Work closely with merchandising, pricing, supply chain, and product teams to ensure marketplace partners are successful.
Requirements
- Strong experience in marketplace operations, e-commerce, supplier management, and process optimization.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Merchandising, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience in marketplace operations, e-commerce merchandising, vendor management, or a related discipline.
- Experience managing supplier or vendor relationships in an operational capacity.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales, inventory, and operational data to drive decisions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with multiple data systems and reporting tools.
- Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
- Experience documenting processes and creating structured SOPs.
- Able to work independently, take ownership, and execute operational initiatives in a fast-moving environment.
- Experience with marketplace platforms such as Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart, or similar e-commerce ecosystems is preferred.
- Familiarity with product feeds, catalog management systems, MDM tools, or data quality processes is a plus.
- Experience in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or trade supply industries is advantageous.
