About the role

This is a full-time, six-month internship in the Orlando, FL area from January 2027 - June 2027. You will help deliver annual revenue and attendance goals for Walt Disney World Resort by supporting Managers in building and implementing communication plans, evaluating campaign creative, analyzing consumer research, and monitoring tactical performance. By applying for this role, you may be considered for a Marketing Strategy Internship on one of the following teams: Domestic Audience Marketing, Florida Resident & Annual Pass Marketing, Merchandise Marketing, Disney Resorts Collection & Central Florida Tourist Marketing, Multi-Cultural Marketing, or Experience & Technology Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Think critically to develop strategic inputs, communicate strategies, and develop communication plans to support business objectives
  • Creatively solve business issues through innovation of new ideas
  • Use data to identify trends and support research, analysis, and reporting efforts
  • Coordinate and lead projects to increase awareness, drive intent to visit, and accelerate conversion
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support business needs through emails, organic and paid media, web content, etc.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies across the business to reach key audiences

Requirements

  • Ability to use data analysis and consumer insights/research to help tell a clear, compelling story; comfortable working with numbers
  • Team collaboration with the ability to handle conflict to positive resolution
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite and developing presentation decks
  • Previous Marketing Internship experience
  • Takes initiative and possesses personal leadership skills with an entrepreneurial mindset

Qualifications

  • Senior year preferred
  • Major or previous coursework in Marketing, Business, or related field
  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization
  • Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or Disney College Program

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior Disney Experience
  • Familiarity with AI & AI Powered Tools
  • Fluent in Spanish

Additional Information

  • Be compliant with The Disney Look appearance guidelines
  • Fully available to work full time hours (approximately 40 hours per week) with a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship
  • Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work
  • Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Orlando, Florida area
  • Limited housing opportunities may be available for Florida Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities

Pay

The pay rate for this role in Orlando, Florida is $23.00 per hour.
