Marketing Specialist – PTD (Internal Applicants Only)

Position Summary

The marketing specialist supports planning, development and execution of Arkansas Heart Hospital’s marketing and communications strategy across digital, social, internal and external channels. This role will be responsible for executing content, campaigns and marketing initiatives, managing recurring departmental needs and identifying opportunities.

Primary Duties

• Ability to work independently, take initiative and move projects forward with limited direction
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with employees, leaders and providers across the organization
• Sound judgment, attention to detail and a high level of professionalism
• Comfortable learning new platforms, tools and processes
• Experience with social media management and content development
• Graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar tools
• Photography, videography and basic video-editing experience
• Familiarity with website content management systems
• Experience supporting marketing campaigns, events or internal communications
• Understanding of basic marketing analytics and performance reporting

Qualifications/Specifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, communications, public relations, advertising or a related field.
• Licensure/Certification: None required.
• Experience: Minimum of two years in Marketing area required. Healthcare setting of at least one year preferred.
• Ability to clearly, accurately and professionally represent Arkansas Heart Hospital
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and plan work activities efficiently and effectively
• Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks
• Able to multi-task, handle interruptions and work effectively in a fast-paced, business office environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills and problem-solving skills
