Responsibilities
- Research, write, publish and monitor audience-centered content for print and digital channels, including website content and other communications collateral.
- Collect and compile information for playbills and communicate with playbill designer.
- Support the creation and distribution of email marketing and digital newsletters.
- Create and deploy social media campaigns and advertising.
- Maintain the department’s digital media content editorial calendar.
- Run analytic reports to assess success of digital marketing efforts (social media and website).
- Manage the department’s digital signage, including managing content, posting/scheduling and developing templates for content.
- Support the Communications Specialist on projects that promote the department and expand audience awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- One year of experience in promotions, marketing, public relations or journalism
- Experience in the use of social media platforms
- Excellent writing skills, including the ability to synthesize complex concepts clearly and concisely and communicate effectively
- Accuracy and attention to detail, decision making and critical thinking, effective communication, strong writing skills, initiative, problem solving, and service excellence

Pay
$32,130 (fixed salary)
Schedule
Expected to work 30 hours during the work week, which would include four days of work at or around eight hours of work time per day. Four days in-office for at least first 45 days of employment. A hybrid option with three days minimum in office after new in position period ends.
