About the role

Penn State is seeking a Marketing Operations Specialist to lead digital marketing programs and support alumni engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an understanding of target audiences and their engagement/membership journey.
  • Become the subject-matter expert in leveraging data for effective marketing and engagement strategies.
  • Communicate Penn State’s needs, ambitions, and values through formal and informal means.
  • Work with disparate data systems to extract, integrate, and report on data for audience segmentation, outreach, and decision-making.
  • Serve as a key stakeholder in data governance and plan for future initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize the association’s Marketing Automation function, including architecting and implementing data-driven campaigns.
  • Develop and maintain processes and reporting solutions to track association activities and channel effectiveness.
  • Manage market research projects, including preparing plans, budgets, and reports, and coordinating data collection.
  • Represent the alumni association’s data function and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience with marketing automation systems, email platforms, web content management systems, CRM’s, event management platforms, and digital asset management systems
  • Strong attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, and a commitment to professional development
  • Experience with Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, and Engagement Cloud is highly desirable

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree

Pay

$65,508.00 - $108,444.00

The position is based at the University Park campus in State College, Pennsylvania.
