Marketing Operation Intern

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Language and Data Analysis Intern to join our team in Los Angeles. This role combines translation duties with data analysis, focusing on the gaming industry and the vibrant worlds of Japanese and U.S. anime/manga.

Responsibilities

• Translate content between Chinese, Japanese, and English, with emphasis on gaming, anime, and manga topics
• Utilise data analysis tools to collect, process, and visualise data for insights
• Analyse trends and preferences within the gaming and anime communities
• Support content localisation and cultural adaptation projects
• Collaborate with team members on projects related to entertainment and pop culture

Requirements

• Chinese, Japanese, and English (reading, writing, speaking) are preferred
• Genuine passion for gaming, anime, and animation
• Familiarity with industry-specific terminology in gaming and anime/manga
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, or other relevant software) is preferred

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position in the location(s) listed above is $24.81 to $42.70 per hour. Actual pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Schedule

This position will be eligible for 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked and up to 13 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
