About the role
Events are a key driver of pipeline growth and customer engagement across the Americas, and this role contributes directly to how organizations experience the Genesys brand at scale. As an Event Marketing Manager, you will manage the strategy and execution of high-impact events that support demand generation, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver measurable business outcomes. You will collaborate across field marketing, campaigns, sales, and global teams to bring well-orchestrated event programs to life. Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end planning and execution of integrated marketing events that support pipeline generation and engagement goals
- Execute event strategies aligned to go-to-market priorities and regional marketing plans
- Coordinate with sales, field marketing, and campaign teams to ensure aligned messaging and seamless event delivery
- Support conference and trade show programs from planning through post-event analysis, ensuring effective execution and measurable outcomes
- Manage vendor relationships and logistics to deliver high-quality event experiences within budget
- Track and analyze event performance, using insights to improve future program effectiveness
- Oversee timelines and operational execution across multiple events while maintaining attention to detail
- Contribute to the development of attendee experiences that enhance brand perception and customer engagement
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of experience in event marketing or event management within a B2B environment
- Working knowledge of conference and trade show execution, including logistics coordination and vendor management
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
- Experience supporting event performance tracking, including engagement metrics and ROI analysis
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Familiarity with marketing and project management tools such as Salesforce, Tableau, Asana, or similar platforms
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- Experience supporting both in-person and virtual events
- Exposure to integrated marketing campaigns or demand generation programs
- Basic experience with vendor coordination and contract processes
- Willingness to travel and support events onsite as needed
Pay
This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range of $81,600.00 - $143,400.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a commission or performance-based bonus opportunities.
