JOB TITLE: Marketing Intern REPORTS TO: Business Development Assistant PURPOSE: This intern will support marketing and business development efforts across Graham Construction/3G Companies through market research, content creation, proposal development, and organization of marketing materials and client information. The intern will gain exposure to the construction industry, company projects, and marketing strategies. At the end of the internship, the intern will complete a project and presentation to communicate their findings and recommendations to the leadership team. JOB DUTIES: Attend weekly Sales/Marketing L10 meetingsUpdate contacts in and generate reports from TrebleHookInventory/gather project photos for proposalsCreate content for Graham/3G Companies social media platformsMake basic updates to marketing materials using InDesignProvide research on customers/companies Graham & 3G Companies are pursuingAttend meetings for RFP kickoffs and interview prepSupport Graham Golf & Wine Dinner Committee in preparation for eventReview and organize marketing project pages and materialsConduct research on vertical marketsFollow Graham Core ProcessesAssist with development and execution of marketing initiatives across the companyAssist with RFQ/RFP submissions including research and content writing. Research industry trends, competitors and clients to support marketing and business development efforts. Collaborate with regional teams to gather marketing contentOrganize client and prospect information and support business development data trackingAttend job site tours to gain an understanding of construction projects and the markets 3G Companies servesCreate and present end of internship project to leadership teamComplete intern education projects and assignments related to marketing, business development and the construction industryHelp organize digital assets, update marketing spreadsheets, and coordinate logistics for events or webinars. Attend company-wide events, such as the safety meeting, quarterly retreats, State of the Company meeting, and the company golf tournament JOB REQUIREMENTS (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities): Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (preferred) or associate degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Development, Communications, or a related field. Bonus - Provide marketing portfolio of work to dateFamiliar with Adobe suite, especially InDesign, Canva, Excel, photography is a bonusComfortable learning and working with CRM and database systemsGreat verbal and written communication skillsExtremely detail-orientedStrong leadership skillsOrganizational skills and the ability to manage large amounts of information accuratelyStrong research and analytical skillsProfessional attitude and willingness to learnAbility to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team LEGAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s licenseAbility to pass post-offer employment testingAbility to pass a post-offer drug testThis is an onsite position.
