Turn today’s social trends into content that makes people discover Playad. About Playad GIGR is building Playad, an AI agent team for marketing. Generation is getting easier. Growth is still manual. We are building a system that turns goals and customer context into action, learns from the results, and continuously improves what happens next. About the Role We’re looking for a Marketing Intern to help people discover Playad, understand what it can do, and want to try it. You notice why people stop scrolling, laugh, and share. When you see a great Reel, TikTok, or Short, you start thinking about how you would make your own. You enjoy being on camera and bringing ideas to life. You’ll work with our team to plan content, appear in videos, film, edit, publish, and help manage our social channels. Your content might be a quick product demo, a relatable moment from a marketer’s day, or a story from inside the team. You’ll take ideas from “we should make this” to a published post, then use the response to make the next one better. What You’ll Do - Spot emerging memes, trends, and video formats, and turn them into ideas that fit Playad and its audience- Appear on camera to share product demos, short explainers, and team stories- Plan opening shots, hooks, scripts, and captions that give people a reason to stop scrolling- Take content from concept through scripting, filming, editing, captions, and publishing- Help maintain our content calendar and a consistent publishing rhythm- Engage with comments and surface audience questions that could inspire new content- Track views, audience retention, shares, and saves, then test different hooks, edits, and topics to improve the next piece of content- Work with product and GTM teammates to find stories worth telling and use AI tools to improve the production process One week, you might turn a trend into a product demo. The next, you might film with a teammate or turn a successful post into a recurring series. You don’t need to master every channel on day one. We want someone who can finish a piece of content, learn from it, and keep improving. What We’re Looking For - A strong feel for current social trends and internet culture, with the ability to adapt memes and short-form formats to Playad’s brand voice and audience- Someone who enjoys being on camera and expresses themselves naturally- Creative ideas and the initiative to make them happen- Curiosity and the ability to learn new products and tools quickly- Clear communication through short videos and concise writing- Reliability in meeting deadlines and finishing what you start- Openness to feedback and the ability to adjust based on audience response- A willingness to ask for help, share context, and contribute to the team This is an internship. We don’t expect years of experience. We do want evidence that you can take initiative, learn, and make something real. Signals We Love You may have: - Filmed and published videos on your own account- Managed social content for a student organization, community, or brand- Planned and filmed content with friends or teammates- Put your own spin on a meme or emerging format- Taught yourself CapCut or another editing tool to finish a project- Changed a concept or edit after a post performed differently than expected- Created content in English or used AI tools in your creative process These examples can come from school, a student organization, a personal project, or something you started yourself. What You Don’t Need - A marketing degree- A long list of internships or experience with well-known brands- A large following- Professional camera equipment or mastery of every editing tool- A perfectly polished résumé We care about how quickly you learn and whether you can turn an idea into content people actually see. What Success Looks Like Within your first few months, you will: - Understand who Playad helps and what problems it solves- Establish a steady rhythm of planning, filming, editing, and publishing with the team- Publish content featuring you on camera and experiment with different topics and formats- Explain what we learned from audience response and what to try next- Help build recurring content series and a repeatable production process Why Join You’ll experience how an early-stage team brings a product to market. You’ll work closely with product and GTM teammates and experience the full content cycle: turn your own idea into a post on a real brand channel, read the audience response, and use what you learn to improve the next one. GIGR stands for Givers’ Ground. We share context and ideas, ask for help, and contribute our time and skills when teammates need us. You’ll help build our social presence while developing your own creative judgment and production skills. How to Apply Apply through our careers page at playad.ai/careers (or where Linkedin takes you when you click "apply"). Please include 2–3 examples of content you planned or created. Links to published posts or a simple portfolio are welcome. For each example, explain the intended audience, why you chose the concept, what you personally contributed, and what you learned from the response. Include results if available; a large following or a viral hit is not required. Choose work that shows your creative judgment and understanding of trends, including short-form videos you filmed or edited. School, student organization, and personal projects are welcome.
