Marketing Intern - Fall 2026

Start Date: Mid September 2026
Minimum Commitment: 2-3 days or 10-15 hours per week
Location: Marina Del Rey, CA (on-site only; no remote positions)

About the role

Boys Lie is looking for a Marketing Intern to join our team in Marina Del Rey. This candidate is a self-starter with a passion for marketing, excellent organizational skills, and strong time-management abilities. The intern will report directly to the Marketing Manager and assist with a variety of duties, including social media management, content creation, and administrative tasks.

This is an unpaid internship for students seeking to attain internship hours per their course or degree requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage Boys Lie social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Pinterest, and LinkedIn)
• Create and edit heavy video content for Reels and TikTok
• Engage with audiences on Instagram and TikTok, including outreach efforts
• Prepare and organize photoshoots
• Maintain and update the website via Shopify
• Oversee office inventory for Sample Sales
• Assist with event preparation as needed
• Handle administrative tasks and office errands
• Perform any other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be enrolled in college with good academic standing
• Must be able to commute to and around Marina Del Rey, CA
• Experience in and passion for marketing
• Proven experience in creating and editing video content
• Up to date with TikTok and Instagram Reels trends
• Familiar with video editing platforms such as CapCut and Edits
• Proficient in Google Suite and Dropbox
• Ability to juggle concurrent projects and work well in a team environment
• Positive, can-do attitude
