Position Description

The Marketing Intern will support a variety of marketing activities, including preparation of collateral, qualifications, proposals, presentations, and client research.

• Marketing collateral preparation
• Qualification preparation
• Proposal response preparation
• Presentation preparation
• Collateral maintenance
• Client research
• Assist in survey submissions
• Assist in award submittals

Minimum Qualifications

• 0–1 years of experience
• Marketing or Communications studies major preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Action‑oriented
• Time management
• Patience and listening skills
• Comfort around higher management
• Ability to learn on the fly and stay organized
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Suite
• Willingness to learn and think critically

Technical Competencies

• CRM understanding
• Basic understanding of marketing and AEC industry terminology and procedures
• Ability to set priorities and coordinate multiple deadline‑driven projects
• Proactive, optimistic, problem‑solving customer service style with excellent oral communication
• Comfort working independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands

• Frequently sit, stand, and move about the office
• Frequent computer use and operation of office productivity equipment
• Lift and move up to ten pounds regularly; occasionally lift up to fifty pounds
• Constant communication with HR, Beck employees, and external vendors
• Maintain timely and consistent attendance
