About Sycamore

Sycamore is building the trusted agent operating system for the enterprise. Our platform helps companies build, deploy, and orchestrate AI agents that take on real operational work, with the security and control large organizations need. We are a small, engineering-led team working directly with Fortune 500 enterprises. We have raised $65M from Coatue and Lightspeed, along with other investors and industry leaders.

What you will do

  • Own a marketing problem end to end, from framing through drafting through publishing and measurement.
  • Write for a technical and enterprise audience: launch content, website copy, product material, and posts under our own byline.
  • Keep the website, blog, and press material accurate as the product and the company change, which is most of the ongoing work and the part usually skipped.
  • Work with engineering to understand a capability well enough to describe it precisely, and to catch the places where our copy overstates it.
  • Measure what happened after something shipped, and say so plainly when the answer is that nothing did.
  • Protect the brand’s voice and visual guidelines while the company grows fast enough to strain both.

What we are looking for

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, or recently graduated. We care about what you have made, not your year or program.
  • Writing you can show us. A newsletter, a blog, a publication, documentation, or a launch you wrote. Length is not the point; clarity is.
  • Evidence that you have shipped something to an audience, and that you looked at what happened afterwards.
  • Genuine interest in the technical subject matter. You do not need to be an engineer, but you should be willing to read the product’s documentation and ask an engineer a specific question.
  • Judgment about claims. You can tell the difference between a sentence that is persuasive and a sentence that is true, and you prefer the second.
  • AI-native. You use modern AI systems to expand your own throughput, while owning the voice, the judgment, and the facts.
  • Comfort with ambiguity and no established playbook. Much of this role is deciding what deserves attention.
  • Design sense, or at least strong taste. You should notice when something looks wrong even if you cannot fix it yourself.

Interview process

  • A 30-minute introductory conversation.
  • A 60-minute conversation about your writing, including something you have published and what you would change about it now.
  • A working session where you take a real Sycamore capability, learn it well enough to explain it, and write the material you would publish.

Why join

  • Own a real piece of how a company presents itself, at the point where those decisions are still being made.
  • Write about work that is genuinely hard, for readers who will notice if you get it wrong.
  • Work directly with the founders and with the engineers building the product.
  • Learn how enterprise software is actually evaluated and bought, which is very different from how it is marketed.
  • Receive competitive cash compensation and meaningful equity in the company you are helping build.
