Marketing Intern

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a full‑time, limited‑term Marketing Intern to join the Greenhouse Gas Reduction (GHGR) Marketing Team in either the Madison (Middleton) or Milwaukee (West Allis), WI office. The internship is expected to begin in May/June 2027 and continue through August/September 2027, offering hands‑on marketing experience in the architecture, engineering, and construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the review and maintenance of marketing materials to ensure compliance with Mead & Hunt brand standards.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate information in aec360, including employee, project, client, and marketing‑related data.
• Assist with the organization and quality review of resumes, project descriptions, qualifications materials, templates, and other marketing content.
• Identify outdated, incomplete, or inconsistent information and coordinate updates with marketing and technical staff.
• Develop, format, and proofread marketing materials and internal communications.
• Assist with file organization, document management, and other marketing process improvements.
• Collaborate with marketing professionals, project managers, technical staff, and other team members to gather and maintain accurate information.
• Support other marketing activities and special projects as assigned.
• Develop marketing, communication, and data‑management skills under mentorship from experienced team members.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, professional writing, business administration, advertising, public relations, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
• Excellent proofreading skills and ability to follow established brand and formatting standards.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Effective collaboration skills with teams and individuals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive, proactive attitude with a willingness to seek feedback.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently required to sit and talk or hear.
• Occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
