Marketing Intern

Temporary, project-based, hourly position located on-site in South Pittsburg, TN. Hours and schedule are flexible within normal business hours, depending on project needs.

About the Role

The Marketing Intern supports the creation of marketing materials, maintains company social media, assists with trade show preparation, and manages database information.

Responsibilities

• Design marketing graphics for:
  • Artwork for trade show booth designs and other trade show needs
  • Email marketing
  • Website blogs and articles
  • Social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, LinkTree)
  • Sample kits and formulation labels
  • Business cards and employee photos
  • Internal marketing: webinars, TVs, publications, news, blogs, product launches with highlights and wins
  • Brochures and literature
• Maintain Colonial’s mailing list for marketing campaigns
• Assist with Colonial’s sample kit system: messaging, graphics, giveaways, packaging, and shipping
• Work with Colonial Applications Lab to promote new products
• Update UL Prospector contacts to keep documents current for the Personal Care industry
• Gather and interpret marketing analytics after activities such as advertisements, email blasts, and podcasts
• Assist with trade show preparation

Requirements

• Junior or Senior university student majoring in Marketing or a related field
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Junior-level graphic design experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
• Audio and video recording and editing experience
