Marketing Intern

Assist in maintaining and creating content for social media platforms, the WordPress website, and digital/print materials for Brandeis Hospitality. Interact professionally with students, guests, and employees.

Responsibilities

• Engage with guests with a positive and welcoming attitude.
• Aid in planning and executing a full calendar of marketing events.
• Assist in designing, ideating, and maintaining physical and digital signage to promote events and encourage meal plan sales.
• Analyze weekly social media strategy and analytic reports; assist in generating marketing proposals.
• Assist in driving revenue at multiple dining locations by planning promotions and engaging with students.
• Build photography inventory daily.
• Create engaging content for website design and maintenance.
• Improve brand presence on all campus dining social media platforms.
• Stay up to date with digital media technology and trends.
• Perform tasks as assigned, which may change without formal notice.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a relevant field.
• Strong visual eye and ability to work on multiple tasks at once.
• Familiarity with a wide variety of social media platforms.
• Experience in photography, videography, and editing.
• Experience planning, setting up, and executing events.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge and love of food is a plus.
• Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing.
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Pay

Hourly rate: $15.00.
