Marketing Intern
Assist in maintaining and creating content for social media platforms, the WordPress website, and digital/print materials for Brandeis Hospitality. Interact professionally with students, guests, and employees.
Responsibilities
- Engage with guests with a positive and welcoming attitude.
- Aid in planning and executing a full calendar of marketing events.
- Assist in designing, ideating, and maintaining physical and digital signage to promote events and encourage meal plan sales.
- Analyze weekly social media strategy and analytic reports; assist in generating marketing proposals.
- Assist in driving revenue at multiple dining locations by planning promotions and engaging with students.
- Build photography inventory daily.
- Create engaging content for website design and maintenance.
- Improve brand presence on all campus dining social media platforms.
- Stay up to date with digital media technology and trends.
- Perform tasks as assigned, which may change without formal notice.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, or a relevant field.
- Strong visual eye and ability to work on multiple tasks at once.
- Familiarity with a wide variety of social media platforms.
- Experience in photography, videography, and editing.
- Experience planning, setting up, and executing events.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge and love of food is a plus.
- Physical demands may include lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, extended walking, and standing.
- May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Pay
Hourly rate: $15.00.
