Join a great employee-owned Company with an even greater culture! Albion General Contractors is searching for a Marketing Intern. This is an in-office position. Schedule to be determined at time of interview. Candidates must live in the metro Atlanta, Georgia area. Out of state candidates will not be considered.
Responsibilities
- Assists in a range of marketing and social media initiatives with activities related to business development proposals, presentations, research and development of marketing materials.
- Works under the supervision of our Sr. Marketing Coordinator.
- May help complete tasks such as preparing marketing proposals, surveying customers, and researching consumer trends.
- Might be responsible for tracking analytics for social media campaigns and creating social media posting schedules.
- May prepare proposals, research marketing needs, and set up and support hosting events.
- Supports production of business development proposals, presentations and marketing materials.
- Conducts research and updates marketing databases across various system platforms.
- Content development of marketing materials, digital asset management, and social media marketing.
- Maintains brand standards across marketing materials.
- Provides marketing with periodic status or progress reports.
- Maintains professionalism with company employees, clients and vendors.
- Performs other activities, duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in college or university with accredited degree program in Communications, Marketing, Business or related field. Or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Attention to detail and highly organized with good time management skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills with ability to proofread.
- Proactive, curious, and eager to learn and participate.
- Able to quickly learn and process information, take direction, follow tasks through to completion, and work in a deadline driven and team environment.
- Proficient use of Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Powerpoint).
- Flexible to work up to 40 hours per week or more as required.
- Excellent internet research skills.
- Knowledge or social media analytics software including Facebook insights and Google Analytics to track audience engagement and campaign performance.
