About the role
Join an established internship providing real-world experience working directly with independent insurance agency partners around the country in the Marketing Communications Department.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with prospective agents via telephone to identify their interest in an appointment with BHHIC.
- Craft marketing messages to inform and sell prospective agents on the benefits of partnering with BHHC.
- Use internal data to understand the market, BHHC product offerings, and potential areas of growth.
- Acquire market intelligence via phone conversations with prospective agents, team meetings, interface with Field Marketing Representatives, and industry publications.
- Assist the Agency Unit with the application process and follow up with prospective agencies for completeness.
- Perform other marketing duties as assigned.

Requirements
- Sophomore or Junior status.
- Marketing or business major and maintain a full-time course load during the internship.

- Ability to meet deadlines.
Schedule
- Flexible hours between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- 15-20 hours per week, depending on the applicant's schedule.
- More hours available in summer (up to 40 hours per week).
