About the Role
We’re seeking a proactive and innovative Marketing / Communications Director to join our team on a full-time basis. As the Marketing Director, you’ll spearhead various marketing activities including Google and social media analytics, event advertising in groups, website upkeep based on analytics, direct messaging teams via social platforms, coordinating email marketing, maintaining the marketing calendar, and overseeing individual event coordination along with all communications to ensure they are consistent and on brand.
Responsibilities
- Weekly social media posts
- Sending out weekly to bi-weekly email blasts to our 50k plus customer database
- Weekly analytic report and analysis
- Posting in social media groups weekly
- Daily direct messaging through social platforms
- Spearhead all of our technology platforms to ensure they are working efficiently and growing
- Find new and improved ways to tap into existing (and new) technology platforms
- Oversee all digital media and communications to ensure we stay on brand
- Increase social media followers and interactions month over month
- Develop and implement an advertising and boosting strategy
- Event advertising in groups and individual event coordination
- Maintain the marketing calendar
- Website upkeep based on analytics
Requirements
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, generating and implementing new strategies and plans
- Proficiency in social and email marketing with knowledge of various marketing tools
- Some weekend on-site work at tournaments will be required to gather marketing materials
Skills
Bonus Strengths and Skills:
- Coding skills
- Experience in social media advertising, including geo-fencing and targeting specific audiences
- Strong knowledge of technology platforms across the marketing landscape (i.e., Slack, CRMs, ClickUp, G-Suites, etc.)
- Ability to seek out new technology opportunities to help our business become more efficient and save co-workers time
- Graphic design
- Knowledge of algorithms
What Success Looks Like
Success in this role involves staying updated on analytics and trends to maintain our online presence, devising and executing new strategies, and consistently recruiting teams through various social media methods. Additionally, ensuring that all digital media and communications stay on brand to provide a great experience for our customers and their families while finding new ways to attract new customers.

Schedule
- Full time, 40 hours per week
- Some weekend on-site work at tournaments will be required
