Job Duties
- Lead development and execution of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy aligned with divisional growth priorities in collaboration with the Office of Communications and Community Outreach marketing team.
- Identify target markets, referral sources, and patient segments to drive strategic outreach initiatives.
- Develop annual marketing plans, campaign calendars, and performance metrics.
- Manage digital marketing campaigns (website content, SEO/SEM, social media, email campaigns).
- Partner with institutional marketing teams to optimize online presence and ensure alignment with Baylor Medicine brand standards.
- Oversee provider profiles, service line pages, and digital content to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Maintain and update digital content to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
- Monitor and report on digital performance (traffic, conversion rates, campaign ROI).
- Design and implement referring provider outreach strategies (community physicians, internal referrals, external networks).
- Coordinate outreach campaigns, referral kits, and communication materials.
- Support growth of key programs (e.g., aortic surgery, complex endovascular, multidisciplinary clinics).
- Track referral patterns and identify opportunities for growth and market expansion.
- Develop high-quality marketing content including: patient education materials, service line brochures, case highlights and success stories, program announcements, and faculty recruitment promotion.
- Support internal communications across the division (updates, newsletters, program milestones).
- Draft executive-ready materials for leadership presentations and strategic initiatives.
- Support marketing efforts for new program launches, faculty recruitment, and expansion sites.
- Collaborate with clinical and operations leadership on growth initiatives (new clinics, service lines, partnerships).
- Develop campaigns to promote high-priority services and differentiate the division in the marketplace.
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics (campaign effectiveness, referral growth, patient volume impact).
- Provide regular reporting to division leadership with actionable insights.
- Continuously refine strategies based on data and market trends.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Two years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Advanced degree is a plus (e.g., MBA, MHA, MPH, or Master's in Marketing).
- Marketing experience in academic medicine, healthcare, research, or other complex matrixed organizations.
- Experience developing marketing strategies for clinical, research, educational, or mission-driven programs.
