What You'll Be Working On
- Create, curate, and schedule social media content that aligns with our brand and marketing strategy across platforms like Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Pinterest
- Repurpose existing content — podcast episodes, newsletters, community calls, event recaps — into social posts, graphics, captions, and other creative assets that drive engagement and visibility
- Aid with podcast and YouTube production — uploading episodes, formatting show notes, sourcing clips, and brainstorming creative repurposing opportunities
- Support PR efforts — drafting press releases, researching media contacts, pitching stories, and building relationships with outlets and podcasts that reach our audience (we’ll help you understand how to do this if you’ve never done it before!)
- Help maintain a consistent, scroll-stopping brand presence across all channels — everything you touch should feel like Visionaries
- Track content performance and audience insights to inform future strategy
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, launches, and content experiments — your ideas will actually be heard here, pinky promise
- Keep marketing systems organized and on schedule so campaigns launch on time and nothing gets forgotten
Responsibilities
- Work with our Founder to help execute marketing and press initiatives across multiple programs — our monthly grant cycles, membership community, annual conference, awards program, podcast, and more
- Ensure consistent and beautiful presence across all channels
- Monitor social DMs and comments to keep communication flowing and relationships thriving
- Contribute creative ideas for campaigns, launches, and content experiments
- Track content performance and audience insights to inform future strategy
Requirements
- 1-3 years of marketing, social media, or content creation experience outside of a classroom setting
- Social media is basically your love language and you are highly tech fluent
- Strong Canva abilities and video editing is not intimidating to you
- Verifiable working rights within the US through E-Verify
Qualifications
- You’ve got integrity, self-awareness, and the emotional intelligence of someone who’s been through at least one self-development era
- Radically honest and accountable — when you make a mistake, you own it immediately and fix it, and you overall embody the concept of unimpeachable character
- Easy going, collaborative, friendly demeanor, but allergic to mediocrity — if something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing right
- Thrives working independently while always meeting deadlines and exceeding expectations
- Uncanny Googling superpowers and the ability to take initiative and figure sh*t out on your own
- Full fluency in English with impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- A serious drive and desire to learn more about marketing and PR — we don’t expect you to know everything and will help you learn, but you need to have a genuine love for this work
- “I can’t,” “I don’t know how,” and “because we’ve always done it that way” aren’t in your vocabulary
- Massive brownie points for: Working knowledge of the online business or women entrepreneurship space, Any past experience with PR, media outreach, or press pitching, Technical knowledge of Descript, Kit, Notion, Captivate, SquadCast, and/or video editing tools, Interest in how AI will shape marketing in the future and eager to keep up with changes — but also a firm believer in responsible and ethical AI use, Wider knowledge of SEO, email marketing, or funnel strategy
